Tech Task - Week 22 (10)

Hello and for this week I decided to do a typing test! I did one of these last semester so it was interesting to see how it was different. I somehow managed to be slower but compared to a usual week this is the first week back after easter so I will put it down to that! I got 62 last time and I got 55 this time. It seems to be above average though so I will take it! This is the link to the website I used!

Tech Task - Week 21 (09)

Hello, this is my blog post for my tech task for this week! I decided to make a Twitter list this week! I have used Twitter lists on my main Twitter only recently, I have one for the news (which is one I made for this account) and I have one to keep up with celebrities I follow! Here is a link to the list.

I started by adding Richard Chambers and Zara King as I follow them and enjoy their posts/ news updates and then it suggest other people add and I added some of them!

Tech Task - Weather Widget

Hello! This post is about this week's tech task. I decided this week to embed the weather into my sidebar on my blog. I was going in between putting Dublin or Roscommon as the location but had to stick with Roscommon! Below is a screenshot of the weather embedded into my sidebar!

Tech Task - Google Timer

 For this week's Tech Task I decided to the google timer. It was so handy I never knew you could do it on google. I'll definitely use it for taking breaks during this busy semester!! It might keep me working, fingers crossed!! haha

Tech Task - Blogger Template

For this week's tech tip, I decided to change up my blogger template! I really don't like any of the ones they have to offer so I searched the internet for some free ones to see if it was possible to bring it in with code and it was!! I found this website and I decided to use this template. I customized it too using my knowledge of HTML. I am really happy with how it came out, the only thing that annoys me is the image at the side is awful quality because the higher quality one was too big of a file but sure nothing I can do! I made a little header for the top left of my blog too as shown in the new pictures below of the new theme!

Tech Task - Fake Social Media Generator

Hello! For this week's extra credit I decided to go with a fake social media generator, the one linked wouldn't let me upload a picture so I decided to use this one instead! It was really easy to use and I wanted to have a bit of fun with it so I did the tweet below.

Tech Tip: Animated Gif

 I decided to go with the animated gif making this week for the tech tip and I picked pictures I took when I was actually in college with my friends :( sad times. I made the GIF using this website :) Check it out!

Tech Tip: Google Maps!

Hello! I'm doing this week's extra credit a bit early in the week, just go get on top of things!

I decided to do the one where I embed a google map into my blog post, I had to decide what place to pick so I said I'd go with TU Dublin as it seemed the most logical lol I was going to go with my village but thought it might be a bit creepy to have it online!

Tech Tip - Quote!

Hello, this week for extra credit I decided to do a tech tip because I find them the most fun!! So I went with a quote maker and had some fun with it. Here is a link to the tech tip if you wanna do it :)

Tech Tip: Animated Gif

Hello and welcome to my tech tip of the week! This week I decided to make an animated gif! I was thinking about what I would make a gif of and then it hit me, I obviously have to do it on my pride and joy. Chomp and Zoe my dog and cat!

I think its the cutest! The picture of the two of them together is so cute and it shows their friendship! I used this website to make the animated gif! It was super easy and would recommend it :)

Tech Tip - Twitter List

Hello, welcome to my blog post! :) 

This is about a tech tip I did this week. This week I decided to do make a list on Twitter! Here is the link to my Twitter link. I created this list to have all my classmates that I follow in it so I could see their tweets in it! This makes it easier for me to see their tweets.

On my personal Twitter account I  mostly just use one list I have made which has Irish journalists/ politicians in it to keep track of what's going on! I am big into politics so it really helps me keep up to date. Instead of me looking them up each time I can just go to the list, it's very handy!

Tech Tip: Blogger Template

Hello everyone! 

I have changed my theme on my blog, this took me so long to decide as I tried to fit different images as the background but didn't like them.

Eventually came to this one and really liked it! I love the layout too you can see much more on it and I think my blog just looks great!

I added a twitter widget to my blog! I shamelessly added my own to promote myself. It was between me and Harry Styles but I said hey, hey had enough followers and rarely tweets so instead everyone can keep up with me.
